Yellow head sleeper goby breathing erratically

Per the lfs complete start can cycle a tank in 24 hours, but going to research it quickly. Trying to find biospira locally now.

With the bioload you have and potential die off still happening I would source an extra bottle Incase you need it

The presence of nitrites suggests to me that the tank has not cycled.

No it hasn’t, he FW dipped his live rock which killed off his biofilter. He’s basically starting off new now.

I agree on liquid bacteria. I also would do a water change, but prior to grab a sample of water. After water change, take sample to a Trusted LFS and have them test for comparison and verification of your readings.
Add also, some carbon in the event anything is leaching from the rocks or sandbed.

Should I do the WC and then add bacteria?

Should I do the WC and then add bacteria?
Yes.... it will lower your levels if high and allow the bacteria supplement to work quick and effectively

My stupid fault. Hopefully I can keep the pair of clowns, the fiji blue devil, and the CUC alive.

Yeah first thing I have really messed up on since I started 14 months ago It is what it is I am just glad I didnt have $2k worth of livestock in the tank.
