How high should the be placed? More light better? Under 4 t-5's. How high for Sunny'ds. Also hornets all colors? Curious for people who have already tried this experiment.

Start at the bottom of your tank, it depends on lighting, flow, and type of zoa. Move them up a little every 4-7 days until they look their best. If they start to discolor move them back down some. I don't have them but that's just standard zoa info.

+1 to what MP said; move them around until you find their sweet spot.

I would agree. I just got one and have it in the bottom. I have lower lighting in my tank (4 vho and 2 150W MH) then most so my guess is I will have to move them up higher.

I have all of the ones you mentioned on my sandbed. I used to run 4xt5, then added two more. Recently switched to two 120w LED fixtures. All get good growth and color on my sandbed. I have never tried to move them around to see if I would get some difference in colors or growth. Here is a pic of a recent frag of my Yellow Jackets.

Here you go. I've also kept two of my t5 to play around with color combinations. I've only been running them for about 1 month.
