Yellow sponge good or bad ?

I have had this for ever and it seams no matter what or how many angelfish eat it ,

is it good or bad ?

it’s mainly in one area under a large cave

Beneficial, cryptic sponges like the one you have are essential recyclers in reef ecosytems. They process the labile DOC 1000X faster than the bacterioplankton in the water.

I'm jealous. I have the same sponge in overhangs in my tank but it's not nearly as prolific as yours. It's a good thing IMO.
