Was doing some work on my tank today and stumbled upon this yellow thing with a tube growing on a frag plug I have covered in my higher end zoas. Any idea on what it is? I think it’s pretty cool looking.!

Thanks guys! If it does start to overthrow the zoas should I just pull it off and throw it somewhere in the tank? I’d hate to kill it because it’s well, yellow, and that’s a color I’m lacking in my tank. I think having one living in a shaded area that’s 5” across would look awesome LOL.

I don't think you could glue it and most I've had to remove kinda disentegrated. If you do manage to remove it in one piece you can try find a spot for it in the rock work or maybe the sump. I get them growing in the biopellet reactor. Lol. Unfortunately I have to remove them during cleaning every 6 months.
