Yellow sponge??

Hello!

I have had this saltwater tank for a while now and I keep finding creatures on my rock and it is just about annoying. I just annihilated 3 vermetid snails and I'm sure there's more.

Anyway, just found some sponge looking thing and really want to know if I just need to pack up shop and give up or what.

If by "pack up shop", you mean pop open a beer and congratulate yourself and your tank on maturing and growing markers of a maturing tank, including yellow sponges and feather dusters, then yes, you need to "pack up shop" Congratulations!

I'm not old enough to drink, but I will pop open something. So the little sponge is normal?

I have the same sponges, they're good for the tank. They are very cool looking but only grow in dark areas so I never really see them

Pineapple sponges!! I have many great little filter feeders, helps keep the water clear. I was taking pics of my new cherub angel but the sponges are in there.

I would not pack anything up unless you have major issues keeping things alive and well

Btw neither of those are pineapple sponges but they are sponges
