Hey

I have had my pair of yellow tails for a long time, they are well established, couple of years ago the larger one turned male,

Only a couple have done this in the Uk,

How about across the pond??

Here’s mine

I have had a female for just over 3 years and I think she’s just starting to transition. Her tail was always bright yellow however the tip has now progressively gotten darker now it’s a black arrow. All other markings appear the same. How did yours transition? Sorry I know old thread.

With my redtails the dominant female buried for a few days and emerged as a male with subdued colors and then got more vibrant in the following weeks.
