Yellow tail tang

This horn/bump showed up on my tang's. He hasn't shown any change in his behavior and looks healthy minus the bump. Does anyone have some input on what this could be.

Can you please take a picture of the tang in 100% strong white light, and try and make the picture as clear as possible.

Is the fish eating? How long have you had it, when did it appear and what are the other inhabitants in the tank.

The bump went away after 1 night. I have several other fish in the tank with him. Some poisonous. My guess would be that he got stung maybe. I've had this fish for over a year. The fish was eating fine. If I didn't look at my fish everyday I would have missed the bump. If it returns I will take another picture like you said and post it here.
