Looks fine other than the ripped fin, just wondering if anyone can confirm this is not a big concern, and maybe how long it may take to heal?

I notice every now and then my blue tang will get a scrape from swimming through the rock work. It always heals completely within a week or so.

Looks like a minor tear. Have you had it for a while?

Thanks guys. I introduced the 3 tangs in that picture a couple of weeks ago, after a 2 month quarantine stint. They have been doing great, and fit in well with my juvenile emperor, 6 banded angel, and clowns. Am still a little in the ‘on edge’ phase, but it’s good to know this should heal quickly.

Guaranteed , he got in a fuss with powder blue who should calm down in a day or two.
Duct tape or scotch tape (just kidding). . . . saltwater fish have the ability to heal quickly in which this should be the case

That makes sense. The yellow and powder do hang out a lot together, and I have noticed some light play fighting. Nothing serious, just some benign tail action. A few seconds later they’re back to chilling with each other at the nori clip. Thanks for that tip.
