Yellow tang help

Can some one plz help me identify this it’s like blackish white and can’t get a better pic thank uuu

Possibly hypermelanization, caused by the sting of a coral or anemone. (Clownfish get this a _lot_, because clownfish deliberately go into corals and anemones . . . )

A better photo would help - perhaps another session tomorrow.

I can’t tell much from the photo, but it’s too large of a spot to be a parasite or worm.

I agree Hyper-Melanization, or a cut/injury, or possibly even a minor infection seems more likely here.

dang thing swims away so fast and hides when the whites are on could it be Lymphocyctis ? It’s kind of white and cotton like Can’t seem to get a pic ughhh
