I currently have a yellow tang, clownfish and lawnmower blenny in a 20 long qt while the main display is fallow since I have a velvet outbreak. Is this HLLE?

What sort of diet is the fish on?

Nori and frozen foods only. Tank is being treated with copper if that has any bearing.

How long has he been in qt? I would give him a couple days, doesn't look to bad to me

3 weeks. About 2 weeks with copper which I’m going to remove Monday and then they’ll be in there till mid January until the fallow period is over.How long has he been in qt? I would give him a couple days, doesn't look to bad to me

Yes 100% HLLE. This happens often with tangs and angels when in copper. An awesome product the help heal and reduce HLLE that I add to the fish food or into water column is ecosystems fish solution. Just keep water quality and diet on point and this will help resolve your issue.

My tang has that. I think it was due to current in the water. I added a grounding probe and it hasn't prgressed and is getting better all the time. He is healthy and happy. Just keep him well fed and isolate and fix the reason why. I found that current was the reason for mine but yours may be different. I didn't treat with anything.
Had similar issue about 6 months ago. Switched up my food and started adding selcon daily. Problem solved. For what its worth I was feeding frozen brine and switched to LRS reef Frenzy at the recommendation of my LFS.
