Yellow tang possible bacterial infection

I have a yellow tang in an established reef tank. Recently I have noticed a slight reddish blotchyness on him. He’s eating like a pig doesn’t seem to be bothered at all. From what I’ve read it could possibly be a bacterial infection. I just ordered Kenaplex. I plan on dosing food with focus and kanaplex. I have read dosing through food isnt the best because you don’t know what does the fish is getting. It’s really my I my option. There’s absolutely no chance whatsoever of catching him and getting him into a qt for treatment. Is treating the food the best alternative? I feed both frozen and pellets. I started adding vitamins to the food as well and I also picked up some live black worms.

Appears to be the start of head erosion (also affiliated with HLLE) and can be due to inadequate/poor diet and/or water quality
Some factors to actress and consider are;
Ammonia-salinity-ph-nitrate levels
For diet, while not all are needed, recommended is :
LRS herbivore diet
Hikari veggie diet
Hikari marine cuisine
Mysis shrimp
Spirulina brine shrimp
Small plankton
Formula 2 flake and frozen
Nori seaweed basted with garlic

Add selcon vitamins to the foods for immunity health and stamina

Flake and frozen does not do it for this type of fish

Thank you. I feed LRS reef frenzy and a sheet of nori in a clip 3x a week Supplemented with Hikari pellets 4ishx a week. Also just got live black worms today. No ammonia in the tank. Nitrates 10 phosphates .08 - .1 I wouldn’t think water quality was an issue but I suppose anything’s possible.

Phos up a little and I assume you’re using api test?
Do add to diet
I have 19 tangs and none ever experienced hlle
I give them 17 items to eat

You can if you want but will require moving fish to quarantine

I see this a lot on YT - I tend to just ignore it. I suppose the technical term is erythema or petachia. If it gets really bad, I’ve seen them die from it, but I’ve also not had any real success curing it. My best guess is that it is a reaction to some stressor. We see this a lot on the bellies of bamboo sharks also.
