Yellow tang questions

Ok so I picked up my first tang about 3-4 days ago seems to be happy just wondering what you feed your tang I went to the store the day after I got my tang and got omega one super blend sea weed been feeding daily because it wouldn’t eat my nls pellets will the sea weed be fine as everyday food

Nori is good but a mixture of good is always better from frozen to flakes

New Life Spectrum Pellets for a base and then frozen mixed food and mysis. I rarely feed any kind of nori.

These are not herbivores like people say... they need to eat some meat. If you want to just feed them nori alone, then you need to soak it in Vitamin A & E and some fatty acids (Selcon). They do eat a lot of algae, but they also eat zooplankton and other small animals in the wild and should also in your tanks. They can get all of the greens that they need in the spirulina in the NLS pellets.
