Yellow Tang scratch or cut

Sometime between yesterday and today, he must have cut himself.

Right now, no other fish in the tank, just him along with Coral Banded Shrimp, inverts and LPS and softies.

Should I be overly concerned about infection? Should I be considering treating?

Looks superficial to me, no sign of inflammation. I would just watch it for now.
Watch for things that could have startled it; kids or pets, slamming a door, turning the lights on/off suddenly.

Yesterday for Father's day, had over a ton of family with little kids, so probably startled by them.

It has been suggested to use Seachem Stress Guard to be safe. Any thoughts? I also have RRR and some antibiotics if needed.

I’m not a great proponent of “bandaid in a bottle” products as there is no evidence that they preferentially seek out damaged tissues, and don’t just stick to all surfaces (like gills!).
RRR is more for protozoan disease issues.
If the condition develops into an infection, antibiotics would be indicated, but I think those really should be administered in a treatment tank.

And I do have a QT I can set up if necessary, and some fish cipro to treat if it comes to that.

Lesion growing in size, turning red, any change in the fish's behavior (rapid breathing, not eating, etc.).
