My yellow tang is not too well. I got him around 2 or 3 weeks ago. Forst night, my sailfin went nuts and chased him down aggressively for a couple hours, but by morning, everything was completely fine, no agression. By that night, the yellow tang was eating a good bit. Starting a few days ago, he has stopped coming out and hides in the corner and wont eat. He runs away from food and wont even look at nori. I think he is scared of the sailfin who eats nonstop, but the sailfin pays him no attention. The yellow is still pretty fat but I worry he will starve to death. Please help

Maybe hes hiding from the sailfin?? I will be adding 2 more tangs Friday. Will that help?

I do in fact hope he’s not sick; sick fish tend to hide and loose appetite, obviously. Keep us posted.

How big is tank? Did you QT him? More tangs may make it worse

Its 90 gallons. No qt. Has had visible ich; dont think it's my problem though. More tangs should dilute the aggression?

Multiple tangs in a 90 would be a problem it is just too small for that many. Many people would say even to small for one but I think one is ok. I do think if had signs of ich and is being bullied. You will definitely have ich become a major problem as the stress is going to weaken him and the ich will take over. I would remove him just my 2 cents. Wish you luck
