Yellow tang stressed?

Been in 40G QT for a month.

copper treated for 2 days at 0.8
Stressed him out too much and I switched him to this new 20g with new water.
He eats like crazy

all levels are normal , pH and ammonia are perfect.

I had him in a 5G bucket for a day before I could swap him to a new 20g. Was this the issue ?

should I be worried ? I’m concerned about the redness / dark

Do you have lights on the tank? If so try turning them off and keep him in the dark. He looks like a small tang if so he will color up and be less translucent

he was in the dark all day , just curious if his discoloration was from stress

The colors look normal, he also looks to be very healthy. Make sure he’s full with algea and he should be fine

It’s a QT so I have pvc for him
