I have a yellow tang in quarantine along with a few other Fish. They have all been swimming around good eating good and this morning I went to move something in the tank and the yellow tang sped off and basically died and then slowly started breathing again and came back to life but now he isn’t 100% like he was…

How is he looking different? Is he swimming normally? Any change in his color, respirations or movement?

I don't think he had a "stroke" but may have run in to something and sustained and injury, possibly a spinal injury. He may be fine in a day or so but keep a close eye on him. Make sure the water is well aerated.

After he darted off he floated upside down as if he were dead. All fins stuck out, no movement then he slowly started breathing and swimming around as if he were intoxicated. Then he slowly began swimming around and The occasional drunk fish like movements I guess. No change in color. He seems to be breathing OK now
