I’ve wondered myself as I have the same e-260. For me personally I say the tank is to small for a yellow tang. Just my opinion Dustin

I should have offered a suggestion for a replacement...to be more helpful.
If you don't have LPS or clams, look into a lemonpeel angel. A yellow wrasse (H. chrysus) is a perfect fish for almost all tanks too.

I know everyone's probably going to get ticked but I've had a really small yellow tang in my 29 gallon BioCube for a year now and it's much happier in there than my 180 gallon which is where it was supposed to be but only because it almost got killed in my 180. My purple tang did not like it much I'm extremely surprised it made it and it was only in the 180 for less than a minute it literally swam into the net

Any juvenal fish will live in a small tank exposition, Naso Tang, I found out the hard way. But once they mature any fish needs to have the correct size tank to live a long and happy life. If one is not provided will cause stress and illness, then finally death. I know you are like me and want the best for our fish and causing a premature death makes me ill.
