In the last couple of days have been noticing that my yellow tang has these light white spots. This doesn’t look like Ich and it is only tang that has it in that tank. What could it be?

Could you post a pic without the blue lights on?

usually I’ve seen this from anemone or coral stings but can also be caused by stress or ectoparasites.

How long has this been going on? Is the tang eating well? Any flashing or anything else unusual?

I'd consider doing a freshwater dip to either confirm or eliminate flukes from the situation.

I have only seen it for the past 1-2 days he didn’t seem interested when I put the first part of the food I didn’t feed the second round my dad did so I don’t know if he ate but if we can I will try the fresh water dip thanks for the advice
