Recently I introduced copperband to my tank, I do have yellow tang and he dosnt like it one bit, chasing the poor copper none stop, just wondering what should I do to make them live in harmony ?

Mirrors, or even better a tank divider (like egg crate). Even better than that, if you have an established QT to get the cbb used to frozen food. If a new cbb has aggressive fish in the same tank if will almost assuredly not eat.

I had the same problem two weeks ago. My yellow tang went crazy at the site of the copper band. So I put the copper band in a peace maker in the tank for a week. Then I increased the tank feeding, after a week I released the copper band back into the main display. There was a few minutes of half hearted aggression. After which the tang ignored the copper band. Now I see them swimming together from time to time. I do believe my copper band has a little bullying streak in him as well. So that may have helped things also. Any way from what I have heard it’s hit or miss with this combination. However I needed the copper band for aptasia control.

Trying mirror at the minute, but without distracting the yellow, unfortunately cant divide the tank, dont have space for egg create, Cbb takes frozen brine no problem, have fish trap in place trying to get YT but very cleaver wont go anywhere near the trap.

I spent months acclimating my copper band to frozen food before I added him to the display. My powder brown tang was super aggressive to the CB so I removed the powder brown. My CB is more important to me and a peaceful tank is also a priority so I don't want to deal with fish aggression. Im just going to rehome the powder brown tang. Its just not worth it to me to stress the CB.

What is the size of the tank?

Im prepared to get rid, very cleaver for my liking, wont go inside the trap.

Yeah I left out the fact that I tried trapping my yellow tang. Guess who wouldn’t go into the trap. Yup, you guessed it the yellow tang. Meanwhile my sail fin tang who could care less about the copper band almost slept in the trap waiting for more food. I would do all you can to save that copper band.

I have just caught it , over the moon really, absolutely monster.

I would put it in a separate tank for a month or two. Or I would rehome it and get another yellow tang later. The thing is the tang thinks the tank belongs to him. By removing him it gives the other fish time to settle in and put on some weight. Then after some time the yellow tang can be put back in the tank. However he’s now he new kid on the block and not so likely to attack the copper band. Or you can be safe and put in a new yellow tang and see if that works. Just try to get a yellow tang that’s smaller than your copper band.

Yellow tangs can be real bullies when they are in first. So happy to hear you caught him. Agree to rehome or keep separate.

now what?
separate tank?
rehomed?
sautee'd in garlic and butter?
so many choices.
4th potion would my

Delighted, YT will have a new home tomorrow, This is has been a learning curve, always yellow tang would be the last fish to be introduced.
