Actually noticed this just over a week ago and for the first time saw it rub it's body against the rock a couple times. No idea how it got it, it's the biggest and meanest fish in the tank (not that it's that mean), no other fish is showing any signs of it thus far. Another strange thing I saw today quite a few times is the tang would go up to my clowns and almost go horizontal and float near them, it really looked like it expects them to 'clean' it as if they were a cleaner wrasse or cleaner shrimp, shall I get a cleaner shrimp? I think adding garlic and Aquaforest Fish V in the food is probably making the process of being taken over with white spot slower?

Looking closely at pics, appears to be lymphocystis. These appear on the infected fish as one or more white or beige colored pebble or wart-like nodules most commonly seen on the fins, skin, or gills,
Maintaining good water quality and good diet will help fish
