If you choose to treat with copper, avoid using an "ionic" copper like Cupramine or Cuprion. Yellow tangs do not do too well with ionic coppers.
Much better to treat with "chelated" coppers like Copper Power (preferred) or Coppersafe.
Highly recommend the Hanna HL Copper Checker. It works much better than the color matching test kits. You can precisely dose copper using a Hanna. Those color matching test kits are horrible. You end up just guessing if you have dosed enough copper to get to therapeutic range.
