yellow tang

Came home last night. one of my 3 yellow tangs where dead and attached to my MP60

just a question or more like a pole.

do you think it died then got caught there or it got stuck there.

thank is 265 gallons
last time i saw it alive and eating was morning feeding
no the fish didnt act weird before
the mp60 is on the top 1/3 of the tank, the tangs normally dont hang out there too much

Generally healthy fish don't get sucked into powerheads. Was there any bullying between them or by another fish?

normally no i would argee.

i have 10 tangs in my tank and honestly they all get along very well. maybe a little dancing, but never a mark
once i got rid of my sohal they all get along pretty well, well my powder blue had to show his dominance for a week, then all went back to normal that was 6 months ago
they hasn't been a new addition to this tank is 2 years


the yellow tang was maybe only 3 inches

all 3 are same size, got them all together 2 1/2 years ago as tiny babies

That fish was ill or killed by something. (Any nems in the tank?) Helathy yellow tang would have 0 problem w that power head. Sorry for your loss!

i didn't think an mp60 would get it. yes the mp60 might be twice the size of a yellow tang, but i never lost a fish in the power-head in the 4 years i had them.

yes its possible one of the other yellow tangs killed it, they do get along, but i know that doesnt mean they will. could also be the powder blue witch is almost 3 times the size. it just sucks for some reason, maybe becuase i am old. the yellow tang is my favorite fish
