I recently purchased a yellow tang and once I started to acclimate it I noticed something was wrong with one of its eyes. It seems healthy otherwise: it is eating, swimming normally, and not bumping into things (most of the time) it just seems like it is blind in that eye. The eye is swollen and foggy compare to the other one. I have attached a picture but I think it might be hard to tell. If someone could help identify if it is sick or that is just the way it will live that would be great! Thanks!

i just had one do the exact same thing. it should hopefully clear up in a few days. at least mine did anyway and they look exactly the same. probably hit it on some live rock exploring it's new home. if it doesn't start clearing up on it's own then it may be something more serious and will need to be treated.

Hard to tell from that pic but is that eye king of bulging out? Does it appear to stick out farther than the other eye? If so it may be popeye.....usually caused by trauma it may last a few days or a few weeks

Looks as if he may have bumped his eye whilst being cuaght by the LFS. Should clear up in about 2 weeks.

Thanks it looks a little better today so I think it will be fine
