yellow tangs on Biota!!

Here is the 2" Biota Yellow Tang I received last week. It is eating pellets really well. I recently saw it nipping at the nori sheet. Took over a week to learn that nori is food since the tank is new and there are no veteran fish to learn from.

My tank has been up for around a week and a half and I got the Yellow Tang exactly one week ago. The Tang was my first fish. Since then I added a One Spot Foxface. Apparently I have been feeding my fish too much so I had to do a 50% water change last night and am going to reduce feed significantly going forward.

great may tank has been up for two weeks now and have two black stroms clownfish and a royal grammam and they are doing great. I was the opposite was told i wasn't feed enough. how big is your tank

I have a RedSea 525 G2. 110 gallon display and 30 gallon sump. 5 foot width. The issue I have is the two new fish I have like to hang out in a cavernous area on the right side of the tank but my feeding port is in the back left. The food eventually makes it to their area of the tank but a lot is spread around which is not a good thing

They generally are but are stable for their small size

nice i just set up a ReaSea 625 reefer max 132 display i have two black storms and a royla grammam in for a week now and are doing great so far . order 3 yellow tangs for Biota on tuesday and were arriving tomorrow. they are now arriving on friday due to extreme heat here. it was really neat that Biota checked the weather before they shipped them

good morning, Secret reefer337 sorry i didnt reply back yesterday thank you for your respond . I have heard a lot of reefers do not QT there fish from Biota due to there are so small but also very healthy as well.

they arrived and they are looking great bigger then i thought they were going to be they where very active in bags so the royal gramma it was out of the mesh tube. can't wait to see the under the light

yes they where available I was surprise that they had them when I went looking for them
