I recently bought an expensive yellow Elegance. In the past, I bought a yellow hammer. Both were canary yellow in the vendor's tank, but lime green in mine.

This is an issue of spectrum, the coral didn't gradually change, it was that color when I got home. Does anyone know what spectrum is responsible for this? Am I missing a wavelength the vendor had? Or do I have a wavelength they didn't? Both tanks are led, mine are diy, there's were commercial, but I don't know the brand or setting.

Green and red make yellow. Your spectrum is washing out the red. I'd go back and ask (or email) about the vendors their spectrum settings then reproduce to get your yellow back.

A good possibility. I don't use any red in my led.
