I've had a Yellow Watchman Goby and Pistol Shrimp pair for over a year. The Goby normally stays very close to his shrimp and burro. The last couple of days he has been out and about and is swimming all over the tank. Mainly from top to bottom. This is the first time the goby has done this since i've had him. No signs of ich or parasites. Not sure if this is normal behavior, or if the goby is on his way out to goby heaven. Any thoughts?

I have a pair of YWG. They typically stay close to the shrimp, but it isn't unusual to see them swimming around the other end of the tank.

Mine used to do the crazy swimming occasionally, he lived to a ripe old age.

Stress maybe?
My wheeler goby tend to that alot, but that is 1 psycho goby. It get freak out easily even already been few months. Lately it just jumped out from my tank.

Thank you everyone for responding. He acted crazy for 3 days and everything is back to normal. I was really concerned as my other fish weren't used to seeing the Goby and were picking on him big time.
