I bought my first watchman goby and pistol shrimp on Sunday, and they weren’t paired, nor purchased from the same LFS.
The goby is very small, and the pistol shrimp is a little over twice his size.
Bare with me in this part: The shrimp made a little hole in the sand bed, but the goby didn’t find the shrimp. The following day, the shrimp is in the opposite side of the tank, and the goby was in the original hole that the shrimp made.
Fast forward to today, the shrimp is still in his 2nd cave, but the goby is perched on a derasa clam. I’m pretty cute, but will they eventually find each other? Is it possible for a tiny little goby to pair with a big shrimp?
