Yellow WG won't eat in QT

so I've had this fish for a week now, I've tried to feed it frozen mysis, brine, pellets, flakes, soaked in entice, selcon or both. Ive only seen him eat a tiny piece of mysis twice.
he is in the 3rd ttm tank right now (10gal filled with 5gal of water) i have a heater, PVC T and an airstone in there with him.
He is obviously stressed but swims around the tank and is very interested in his reflection on the side of the tank. i keep the tank in my spare bedroom with the door closed so theres not alot of traffic and what not to frighten him...
i dont know what else to try...

any suggestions?

it hasn't been addressed yet....he did take another tiny bite of mysis last night, today is his last ttm transfer so last night and today im over feeding the heck out of the tank trying to coax him into eating something. im surprised he's still alive, 3 tiny bites of mysis in 9 days.
I think im going to buy a couple clams from the grocery store today and cut it into small chunks and see if he will eat that.....

while typing this i just remembered i have some salmon roe from a salmon i caught in alaska last year. Its from a smaller species of salmon so the eggs are really small....would that be worth trying?

I've never had a watchman goby so don't know what advice to offer.

just transferred him into the last TTM tank, if he dont shape up soon im going to have to setup a more permanent qt and hold him in there until either he dies or starts eating.
hes messing with his reflection almost non stop, i think thats stressing him out. he's not bashing into the glass but he is swimming along the side up and down with his nose to the glass.
i just got a pistol shrimp today, can i throw him in there with the goby hoping they become friends and makes everything seem more "normal"?

Hi there! Are you treating with any meds like Prazi while running TTM? Is there any sand in the QT's for him to sift in? Sometimes its enough to just put a small container of sand for a fish that likes to dig or sift in it. I'll say that as long as he's eating something, he'll probably be ok. The salmon roe and clam are both great ideas! If that doesn't work, you might try some live ghost shrimp or brine. You're almost done with TTM, so when he's ready for the observation period, it would probably be a good idea to add a small container to that QT to help him feel a little more comfy.

thank you for your reply...i have not used prazipro yet because i dont want to suppress his appetite anymore than it already is, i did give him a formalin bath for 45 minutes at the end of the first TTM tank, he took it like a champ.
My normal TTM schedule is Formalin at end of first TTM tank, transfer, try to feed the fish, if the fish eats then add prazipro if he dont eat wait for the next day and try again, then transfer to 3rd tank and do formalin again at end of 3rd tank then prazipro again in 4th tank. I dont do an observation period after TTM I just roll the dice and chuck em in Display tank, BUT this is only my 3rd fish, i already went through all this with 2 clown fish TTM at same time. They ate everyday no problems even with prazipro in the tank.
I will observe the goby for a week or so after just to fatten him up a bit before he has to compete for food with the clowns and my crazy skunk cleaner, then do the prazipro once he starts eating.
No sand in TTM tanks just a PVC T fitting, heater and air stone. I have thought about throwing a little tupperware of sand in there for him to hang out in just haven't pulled the trigger on that yet...im a little weird of that during because if he does have ich dropping off him (i haven't seen any signs) its all dropping off him in the little sand he will be hanging out in.

I would caution you about putting him straight into the DT. Velvet seems to be running rampant right now and TTM won't prevent it. It cuts down the numbers but won't illuminate it. It can take a week or 2 after finishing TTM to see symptoms which is why the observation period is important.

Not saying you have to (obviously), and I understand why you wouldn't, but it's something you should consider.

I agree its a good idea and im probably going to start doing the observation period. I have all the tanks and equipment to do it so it seems kinda silly not too.
I dont even know how to treat velvet, my research hasn't got that far yet, i guess its time to start looking into that

Let me help. Velvet is like Ich's evil little brother. They have much in common but velvet is smaller and reproduces much faster.
