Yellow Wrasse Eye issue

I just brought this guy from my LFS, and it looks like his eye is injured or deformed. No swelling. Is his eye a goner? Should a treat with antibiotics? Any suggestions would be helpful.

Welcome to R2R and good on you for rescuing a sad fish. For eye infections treat with Erythromycin aka Maracyn. But for injuries methylene blue helps healing. Best of luck with your new little buddy.
