I just picked up a piece of branch rock covered in these zoas from my LFS today. I am pretty sure these are already named, as I think I use to own some, but I can not remember the name. Since there is no lineage, I can not call these the collector name even if there is a direct match, but I would like to know just because I am that type of person, haha.

They have yellow skirts, purple/brown mid-rings, yellow outer-centers, and brighter yellow mid-centers.

Haha. For some reason the name King Midas is ringing a bell. Does anyone have King Midas zoas that could confirm or decline this?

Hey Kelby...not King Midas IMO. These have some splash around the oral disc..

I am not sure if the splash is permanent or stress-related. The LFS told me these were fairly new in their shop. However, I would like the splash to stay!

Man Kelby these do look like the King Midas. Here's some comps.

I think mine might be a morph of King Midas. The main difference that I see is the dominance of the yellow in the center.

+1 some cool morph of them for sure though!
Thanks!

I dont think they are Midas?
Here's mine

Yea, I think mine might be a morph. King Midas seem to have a really dominant yellow center, where mine have a little more space between the skirt and center. Nice looking mini colony there!
