there is someone on youtube who has bunch of cardinalfish in the tank. maybe i should open an account and contact him?

No clue but they are pretty fish!
Our bangias worked their way down to a pair from 4 and lived 5 years FWIW.

I have had all kinds of Cardinals. I did buy a group of yellow line a while back and they had some kind of bacterial disease in QT such that I ended up with just two. I also had a trio of ochre striped, which did fine. So, have the five in my display. No reason to think they won’t be enduring. They don’t hang together until dusk, when the lights go down, then they mostly group together. Very mild mannered.
