Training the copperband would be my advice.
I would personally restrict food for a couple of days and then spotfeed the aptasia, with any luck the cbb will move in and whilst grabbing the food also eat a piece of aptasia and develop a taste for them that way.

In my experience peppermints work but you need a lot of them and it will take some time before you see any effect.

Seems like the plan of action, Have gotten hold of a place seeling bergias but at a rate of 45$/1 its quite the investment. Might try to breed them in a smaller system first!

Inappropriate Reefer blasted them with a pretty nasty laser ... not sure how this worked in the long run but looks interesting !

While this seems fun (who dosent enjoy incinerating their enemies?) Its pretty much a remedy removing that you can see and with that the eye soar while the problem presists.

Dang, that’s expensive. Is it företagsakvarium?
Have you had a look at German suppliers? Might be that there are some cheaper options.

While I feel your pain because that sounds like a horrible problem. Can we also please include in this thread how to prevent apitasia in the first place or how to identify It early on and eliminate it, before it becomes something like this scenario. Seeing these kinds of post worries me and wants me to take pro-active steps.

Copperbands are well known to be hit or miss with aiptasia, I prefer some of the other reef safe with caution butterflies, Roaops, or Prognathodes, I would say equally hit or miss with corals as a copperband.

Well like all other things the only way to be 100% sure is QT and observation before letting anything enter your system.

Live rock is alot harder to do this with so starting with dead is probably prefered. Mine came with LR.
