Hello All! I've been a lurker for some time on RC but figured I'd join the exodus to here since it seems the majority of the knowledge base has transferred already.

Also, no offense to any actual refugees of course!

I hail from Newfoundland, Canada. I've had a 20h for the past 9 years that's gone through various cycles of neglect and interest since upgrading from a 10.

I'm in the process of upgrading/cycling a 45g diamond corner with 55 sump that will be primarily a moderately lit LR refuge. I'll start a build thread once it's up and running.

Here's the 45 as it currently sits, with a cheap freshwater LED and zero attempt at aquascaping:

A FELLOW NEWFIE!!!!!! Hello there! I'm a Newfie that moved to the US 20 years ago, but all my family is still here and I'm currently home on a month long vacation. Where are you living? I'm in Topsail, CBS.

Small world! I'm currently between Appleton (central) and Bay d'Espoir (south coast) but I travel all over. Used to have a house in Chamberlains!
 
Small world indeed. My family are Bayman, so I know all those places. Do you know Wince Coles, by any chance? The country/folk singer?

Thanks! It still has a long way to go. The sump is currently a 5g bucket while I reseal the 55 haha

I watched one of my emerald crabs do a little dance on top of the rock and release a ton of eggs last night... so cool! I've had cleaner shrimp spawn before but it was my first time seeing a crab.
