You ever order too many plumbing parts?

Do you ever order, or pickup way more plumbing parts because you're just not sure?

I seem to have amassed quit a collection myself.

Usually the other way around for me, hence more trips to the hardware store. Lol

When I build a new system, I set down and draw out EVERYTHING to a tee and then go shopping. I take the drawing and list with me and always forget something! Lol

Yep, same here. HD and Lower are only 5-10 minutes away but I still prefer to buy too much and return what I don't use. Never a problem.

I have 4+ boxes of various fittings I've bought over the years that were the wrong size, looked like they might work, or just in case.
Then there are the boxes of fittings/valves I've taken off tanks that I figure might come in handy some day.

What all of them have said. I have the extras sorted by size, so I have boxes for cpvc and 1/2"pvc up to 2". And yes, sometimes I still don't have the right @#%#@##@ piece.
