If you have one spot left in your aquarium which do you pick, Walt Disney or PC rainbow?
I guess this question is geared to those that have seen both in bigger sized colonies. This is based off color, structure , and overall esthetics. Let’s assume the both cost the same.
And yes I understand “they are two completely different corals “, but if you had to pick just one.

That’s such a tough question to answer.

What colors, what growth pattern, and what corals surround the spot for this new coral?

Here’s a pic of my Walt Disney. Small frag, costs a lot, and slow grower.

For me this would depend on what color corals I had around the space available. I would like to bring something in that would standout from the surrounding colors. If you already have a good blend go for whatever one you like best

I have a WD next to a RR rainbow loom (close enough lol). I find myself looking at my WD way more, plus if you like non windex tanks, the blue on the WD pops under daylight

This is the spot in question
Left side corals:
Purple slimer
Bubblegum digi
Sc orange passion
TCK pink Texas stag
Asd rainbow Millepora ( on the way)
Sapphire blue Millepora ( on the way)

Plenty of SPS already. Looks like a perfect spot for a torch!

With that said though ive had a walt disney for a couple months now, and i just got a pc rainbow yesterday at RAP. Theyre both stunning acros so i guess it would depend on the location its going on which one id chose. If theres any similarly colored corals nearby id go for the other color if that makes sense.

Looks like a nice showpiece spot. Why not go big, get a home wrecker or some crazy rainbow acro.

Hmmm… here’s my WD. It started the same size as your picture 14 months ago. Do you know the par over the WD? Mine is at 650, they love light! It grows super fast.
