When you can frag and glue down corals without getting superglue on your hands. I'm not there... Even when I use gloves, I still somehow end up with superglue on my finger tips.

Pro tip: olive oil helps get it off.

My struggle is absent-mindedly wiping my hands on the paper towel that has super glue on it. :|

I mentioned this one else where but...when the first thing you thought when you saw the new iPhone13 was that your lens filter won't fit the camera!

It was my second thought...dang it.

When you have your epoxy of choice on the plug make a large thin protrusion almost like a taco with the epoxy. Then fill the middle with gel glue and gently fold the epoxy down covering the glue.

Stick in tank and the super glue is protected from rising up as you mash it down and it will adhere to rock and epoxy without getting on you or the frag as you let go from the sides of the plug. Works well with stem cut off or even better for no plug frags.

Testing your water and the results don't induce panic and tank tinkering.
You leave your light settings alone.
You own a par meter.
You make your own fresh fish food.
You're not swayed by the latest reef fad additive/program.
You have the bare minimum equipment to keep failure points to a minimum.
You have multiple redundancies with your heaters.
