My fish have always think its time to eat when I get close to the tank (or anyone for that matter). As for this time, I have to agree with the couch and my waist line has increase a few inches.

When your wife walks up to you in your makeshift home office asks how things are going and you enthusiastically respond with "There were three baby bunnies that walked by in the yard. The squirrels are running along the fence every 15-30min. Robins were eating worms out of the lawn. A cardinal was in the tree just outside the window. Some sparrows keep fishing in the bushes" My wife said you need a break and walked away. That was a couple weeks ago and the bunnies are growing. I try to look at my aquariums as often as I can and its at the point where the fish are starting to not respond when I go into the basement.
