I couldn't help myself. All of my water readings indicate I am though the cycle. I just could not wait any longer, I needed to see some swimming life visually on display in the tank. I purchased 2 very young clown fish as my first addition. I took my time to acclimated them and all seemed fine. Woke up this morning and eagerly checked the tank to find one missing and the other stuck to the corner overflow. I placed the stuck clown fish in a quarantine tank and resumed looking for the missing clown fish. Found him in the overflow swimming happily up and down between the returns. I was unable to catch the clown in the overflow so, I wished him the best and departed for work. Upon my arrival home with all of the required retrieval tools, I found them both alive and doing fine. I have placed small internal breeder tanks in the main tank to contain them for now. They seem to be doing well and ate for me after placed in the new accommodations.
So, the real question, how do you prevent small fish from going over the falls(overflows)? I like the Idea of purchasing young stock to raise.
Thanks for the advice.
