Just noticed that the "Your Notifications" link in the top right corner doesn't do anything from the homepage. If I go the User Control Panel and click it, then it properly displays the submenu options available. If you want to replicate this one for yourself, it looks like you need to have an unread PM in your Inbox.

I also didn't notice a dialog box notifying me of my PM or prompt me to open it in a new window, but I honestly didn't pay attention on that one. Perhaps I'm mistaken in that last regard.

Running latest version of Firefox on an Intel Mac, FWIW.

I think its a firefox bug. It happens to me on this site as well as another. I can typically refresh and pull it down by hitting the triangle to the right. Latest firefox here as well.

Its only on the homepage. Anywhere else it works. It's a problem due to the upgrade to VBPortal 3.8.1. A fix is being researched

I have IE and it never works on the page that you get the message box when you get a new pm. not just the home page. if I switch to any post it will then work

Don't click on the highlighted notifications part...click on the Quick Links pulled down menu below it and then just click private messages. No problem....
