Your Thoughts on mangrove sump

Want to see what is everyone input on a mangrove sump? Using enough mangrove as the nutrients extractor.

Once they are large enough they could work well. The problem is they need space once they get that big and are not that practical compared to macro algae.

I'm starting research into mangroves too, I just read this article from Julian Sprung. He recommends for Mangroves to be efficient you would need 1 per gallon of water in a smaller system or 1 per 2 gallons in a larger one.
