What's that fish you've always wanted or have had but can't keep alive? Maybe we can help each other over come issues or find what we're looking for. What's your unicorn?

I want these...

Right now mine is a Lineatus Fairy wrasse. I got a nice one from a vendor which did got for a month but then suffered from swimming bladder issues and didn't make it.

The second one came from Pacific Island and I paid $400 for a gorgeous pair with a super male. Even though they were perfect, another fish that came the same day had ich. Needless to say I lost the pair and all my other fish causing me to go fallow for 9 weeks in the DT.

So far the Lineatus has been bad luck for me and I'm afraid of trying one again even though I now quarantine all my fish.

I have a HERD of unicorns in MY "barn". LoL

Achilles( everyone's fave)
Bandit angel
Sohal tang
Well....all tangs ....even the gem

Why .... Are all the pretty ones high priced..dangit

Mines gotta be the kuiters leopard wrasse, someday I will find one.

Powder blue tang. Always got ich

Devon, I had this problem for a long time with PB's too. There a must QT fish in my Opinion.

blue spot jawfish kept dying

Your not alone on this one, I think most have this problem with blue spots.

A pair of Cross Hatch Triggers

Love them too, never had the right setup for them though.

Right now mine is a Lineatus Fairy wrasse.

Bryan, your on the right track now. When you get one you gotta come back and post a new one, LOL

Nice list, love Bandits but would never buy one unless my tank was dedicated to them.

Achilles tang, when I get a big enough tank I'd like to try but hear that they are tough to keep.

A harlequin tusk wrasse, love this fish, when I get a big enough tank and can convince myself that I don't need a cuc.

A small school of flashlight fish and/or pine cone fish. It would seem that they don't keep well long term either although pine cone fish are supposed a bit easier but much more expensive.

And cross hatch triggers are awesome.

This thread needs more pictures, any more unicorns?
