Hey folks,

Im nervous starting this new adventure. I had a tank years ago but recently bought a used 125 gallon off of offerup. Either way I want to document and share my build and progress from cleaning the used tank, building the stand, building and choosing my sump and equipment...etc. Using this youtube channel to ask for advice and share stories. As of now i run a semi successful Motovlogging channel where i talk about life while riding my harley. The reason i bring that up is i use that platform to interview other riders around the world and thought bringing that to the reefing community would be cool to. I guess im wondering if this newbie starting this adventure is worth watching? i know i am not bringing anything new to the table. the info and knowledge is out there. I always here how salt water is pricey and too tedious to hop into but i want to share how if a dummy like me can they can as well as doing so on a budget. thoughts? Either way ... I GOT A NEW TANK! Yay

If this is something you want to do, jump for it! From experience the downside to documenting anything with video is the process takes much longer. For instance I just recently swapped my sump out and documented the majority of it. Stopping to record clips here and there slowed the progress down, but that is fine. It is something I like doing!

Indeed! i have been making youtube videos for a year now. editing is also a huge time suck. just nervous to be the budget builder learning because i know there are some snobby folks out there. I guess I just worry about being less skilled than most while putting info out there. I also want to use it to ask questions and spread the hobby with folks. Like a vlogging reef building channel where i build it up then just post updates of growth.

Pick the format that works best for you and start uploading! The only editing I do is putting clips together, I have tried to spend time editing videos and although I like it I don't have the time. I point, shoot and put all the clips together and upload!
