Help! I am new to the hobby and started my Red Sea Reefer 350 last month. It is up and running for about 2 and a half weeks now and my YWG now has a red spot and it’s tail is starting to turn white. My true perc clownfish’ dorsal fun is getting worse and worse every day. I’ve had my goby for about 8 days now and my clownfish for only 3 days. What should I do?! I have a qt that I could set up but I have no clue where or how to start treating my fish. All my other critters are doing just fine: I have 10 hermit crabs, 8 nassarius/trochus snails, an algae blenny, tiger pistol shrimp and a true perc clown pair. These two are really starting to worry me, don’t want my first few tank inhabitants to die!
Attached are some photos of my before and after for my goby as well as some very current photos of my clownfish.

Red spots and white/whiteish filmy areas can be symptoms of bacterial infections. Any wide spectrum antibiotic dosed into a QT should help the fish's immune system. Prefer NFG, but it's a bit challenging to get a hold of quickly. Alternatives are: Furan2, Kanaplex, Triple Sulfa (Sulfaplex). Treat for 10-14 days in QT.

And welcome to R2R!

what does NFG stand for exactly? I'm a bit of a newbie here lol
Welcome to the forum! It's nitrofuracin green, here is some good reading material while you wait for the experts to respond. Some of the other knowledgeable people here in addition to @Big G are @ngoodermuth @HotRocks @Frtdrmrose7 and @4FordFamily. You'll usually be able to find at least one of them here when you have an emergency.

NFG is Nitrofuracin Green. TripleSulfa (or Sulfaplex) + Furan-2 can have a similar effectiveness in a pinch.

I’d also suggest an antiseptic bath en route to QT. These bacterial issues can be difficult to get ahead of. Acriflavine (ruby reef rally or API fungus cure) or methylene blue are both good options and pretty gentle on the fish.

Also, considering you have multiple fish affected... you are most likely either dealing with a gram-negative infection, or more likely, a latent parasite causing secondary infection.

Have you seen any other symptoms? Scratching on rocks and substrate, excessive yawning, twitching, gulping for air at the surface, swimming into flow, etc?

Not really, my goby acts completely normal, him and the pistol shrimp formed their relationship so he’s always on the lookout with no abnormal behavior; he eats extremely well. My clown fish has normal behavior as well, always next to the bigger more dominant perc ‍♂️Although the infected perc eats very well and the other one I hardly see her eating at all. I just recently bought Kent’s garlic extreme and hoping she will eat after I treat the food with it.
