Looking at getting wild zebra snails to clean algea .. Are they aquarium safe and do they carry pests ??

Zoas are animals. Herbivores eat plants. But Google the name I gave you to make sure that's what you have.

Anything wet has the possibility of bringing in pests. How likely is it? Don't know. But I know it has happened to others so I QT everything wet.
