So I have been looking for good articles on the methods in the title. I am trying to educate myself on the how-to's of each method in order to decide if I want to try a method or not. Is Zeo better than Aquaforest or vice versa? or is a hybrid method better? I know that what works for one tank may not work for another. However, if anyone can offer any advice or point me to some educational reading it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

trying to gauge the extra work/reward for doing it. I basically do something with the tank every day anyway, so if I can pull off a pristine tank along the way I am open to checking it out. however $$$$ rules all.

The powers of zeo are real! But it's expensive...I think with a +1+2 skimmer and consistent 20% water changes every week you can achieve a very healthy reef tank. I would look into some of the zeovit additives that are made for people not using a zeovit reactor if you are trying to save some money. Never used them myself but there are a lot of YouTube videos out there. The additives are 25% off at Bulkreefsupply.com I think it's worth it to save up and run a full zeovit system though. If you go that route I can deffinately help you out.

Gonna try the cyano and coral snow treatment. if I am favorably impressed then I start looking more. I mean, enough people say great things so there must be some kind of lightning in a bottle here. I am not opposed to additives either. is there a guide to additives while NOT running zeo?
