Zeovit and biopellet removal

I installed a Zeovit reactor on my aquarium Wednesday, and I wondered if I should just pull my biopellet reactor offline, or slowly shut it down as the Zeovit cycles? I don't want to pull it, then get an enormous nitrate spike, which would effect how I dose the zeovit reactor and have a negative impact on my livestock.

Slowly removing little at a time the biopellets while the zeovit build the proper bacteria that consumes the n and p's..are you running ulns already with biopellets? Keep testing remember zeovit will take time to actually start working its not instant..goodluck to with switch once you get it dialed in you will like the results

pretty low ... nitrate typically around .0012 ppm and phosphate, about the same. After some research into zeovit, it seems like it has a few positive benefits that biopellets lack
