Has anyone made their own with calcium carbonate and RODI water ...

once upon a time I made it but can’t remember how much to dose .

mix 340 grams calcium carbonate powder with 750ml RODI water .
but how much to dose ....

If you are talking about solids that are intended to bind stuff to the surface (not dissolve), the dose is not very important and you wont be able to match a commercial product exactly anyway as that will be dependent on surface area of the material (which you likely do not know) rather than a gram amount.
