Some zoas will open quicker than others whenever the creepy crawlies are pestering them.No not really I know my Hermit crabs climb on them
Yea but it’s weird because they Completely close up around 4 pm for no reason…lights come on at 11 am and go off at 9 pm…they close up about the same time everydaySome zoas will open quicker than others whenever the creepy crawlies are pestering them.
What time do they close up every day? I don't see anything in your schedule that would be triggering this.Yea but it’s weird because they Completely close up around 4 pm for no reason…lights come on at 11 am and go off at 9 pm…they close up about the same time everyday

Nice tank can u send me ur lighting Schedule gonna do another par test right nowSounds like a stretch given the par numbers you listed but maybe too much light? I have 3 primes on my reefer 250 (similar tank) and my lighting is quite a bit lower and I am growing all sorts of SPS on the bottom glass. That’s the only thing besides pests I can figure. Right where the Zoa are you will be getting some good lighting bounce off the side glass panel maybe the par meter did not pick that angle up? Side note careful having the uv up that high you will certainly burn out the lens under the “uv” diode. Tank looks nice! Here is mine with 3 and even though it looks like less lighting the spread absolutely blankets everything. Just a thought. I know the Scolys I put on the bottom did not like the light at first
I can what’s your e mail? It’s gonna be more blue than what you have been used to that’s for sure. It does change quite a bit during the day though. When I do try and increase the percentages the corals get ticked quickly.Nice tank can u send me ur lighting Schedule gonna do another par test right now
my tank is only 15 inches wide of display place because of the aio chambers in the back I’ll pm u the emailI can what’s your e mail? My lights are about 10 inches off the water and 8 inch’s apartSounds like a stretch given the par numbers you listed but maybe too much light? I am about that height as well. At the max of the hard mounts. I was just thinking that maybe they were getting too much light since they were closing at the same time every day. Pests don’t have a watch so you can kinda rule that out. You could always kick the lights down in the acclimate mode and give it a few days and see if they close up the same time. That’s the easiest thing you could tryMy lights are about 10 inches off the water and 8 inch’s apart
