zilla mini halogen bulb over nano reef???

The title says it all, do you think this little fixture would work over 3 gallon cube? I'd like to have a mini acro garden.

Sorry no, I don't think that bulb is gonna grow any corals (especially acros). It would be fine for a fish only tank though

Personally, I'd go with an LED display, far less heat input into the tank. I'd also recommend plumbing any nano tank into a larger display for stability reasons.
