Zinc in RO/DI water

Yeah it is a bit needle in the haystack and no way to easily test except for more ICP-OES tests. I am not too worried from what you are writing. Thanks Randy!

Hose clamp?

Have a customer that had some kill everything in a tank.

Also, if you have children, look for a penny. They are made mostly of zinc.

I have kids, but no pennies. I have not found anything and tank is a new setup, 2.5 months in. I have a 3D printed probe holder whose magnet is probably the most likely culprit if it is a magnet leaching. I raised it above the water line (it had been submerged) and the probes are still deep enough.

Did you ever figure this zinc issue out? My ICP test just came back with 14.63 zinc. There is no PVC after the RO unit and nothing metal in not touching my poly storage container.
